Pressure and Flow Regulating Valves

Pressure and Flow Regulating Valves
AM Sensors Servo Control Valves are widely used in aviation bulk fuel and other storage installations, for safety shut off on filter water separators controlled by a water level sensing valve, pressure sensing or emergency shutdown systems.

They are also used in shipboard and other hazardous applications in view of their proven reliability and long service history (Ex Alan Cobham).

• Used in a range of skid and filtration systems
• Controls line conditions
• Differential piston operated
• Self-powered by inlet pressure
• Low pressure loss in line design
• Aluminium or Stainless Steel variants
• 1.5", 2", 3" and 4" variants with a range of connections

A range of external pilots are available for fitment to the port plate, including AMS manufactured mechanical pressure regulators which can be fitted to regulate upstream and/or downstream pressures within a line.

Regulation of pressure within a line can be critical in applications where the conditions need to be kept consistent, these valves have been used extensively in chilled water, fuel filtration and other skid mounted systems to ensure that systems work correctly.

When fitted with a calibrated orifice plate, this valve can also be used to regulate the flow in a process. Both the flow and pressure regulating valves have been used extensively within MoD marine applications including regulation of conditions in weapon system cooling
